Edgar At Window - Digital Composite Illustration

This illustration is of a Edgar, a character I created 12 years ago.  I created a series of vector based illustrations, animations, and games featuring this little guy. View the work here.

I have been wanting to develop a new series based on him but in a different style, this is one of the style tests.

This image was created using original photography I took, and vector art created in Illustrator.

Final assembly is in Adobe Photoshop

Isabel Schwarer Matchingham & Ike - polymer clay figures

Isabel Schwarer Matchingham and Ike are inspired by Victorian and Steampunk styles.
This figurine's core is created from aluminum mesh (gutter covering),  14 gauge hobby wire, a 6" lag bolt,
and generic aluminum foil.

The core is covered with the polymer clay Sculpey. A 50 / 50 mix of Sculpey Firm and Super Sculpey.

The girl, Isabel Schwarer Matchinghame,
was built separate from the wall and in 6 pieces; head, body, two hands and two feet. After
the pieces were baked they were assembled together with super glue.

All pieces were covered with 2 coats of gesso before painting with Acrylic based paint.

Above image is composited with Adobe Photoshop.

Ike, the steam powered brass bot,  is Isabel Schwarer Matchingham's best friend.
Ike's legs and body base were assembled from a 750ml beer bottle cork cap.

Big Head Chewbacca paper toy with printable template

Big Head Chewbacca paper toy is about 2.5 inches tall and my first paper toy featuring a
member of the Rebel Alliance. I chose to make  Chewbacca because he was failed to be recognized with a medal along
with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo after the destruction of the Death Star. Poor dis-respected Chewy.

Download, print and build your own Big Head Chewbacca paper toy here.

Big Head Chewbacca is featured here in front of my toy Millenium Falcon I have had since the 3rd grade.
